Gypsy Soul Freedom

I’ve been called a Gypsy before.  A few times.  Maybe that’s what I am.  I know I like the comforts of being in the same place.  But the thought of something new is equally appealing. If it wasn’t for my “Gypsy” heart, I would not be where I am now.  Living my dream life...

Get Hustlin’

Yep, it’s that time of year. Lots of people making resolutions and setting goals. I’ve never been one to make resolutions, but I definitely set a few goals for myself. Nothing earth shattering; just a few things I’d like to do. However, I’ve never published my goals before, and I’m thinking this may be...

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
