Why Your Business Needs to Consider Cycle Schemes

Regular cycling is one of the best forms of exercise available.  It is low-impact, meaning it’s easy on the joints, and it’s also a great way to burn calories. Someone who weighs 175 pounds can burn around 650 calories with an hour’s riding.  It’s little wonder then that a rising number of people are...

When I Grow Up

I look at those kids who at the age of four know exactly what they want to be when they grow up.  I never was one of those kids.  At least I can’t remember knowing, or ever being told about my childhood pledge of future occupation.  One thing I do remember saying (or at...

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
