This submission was e-mailed in from Ryan Werenka. He says, "It is a half cup of Quinoa with Strawberries, Blueberries and Blackberries. It is surprisingly filling, loaded with nutrients and easy to digest. Everything a cyclist needs to fuel up for a ride. I had this and a good cup of coffee prior to a 55 mile ride last Sunday and it did the trick. "

I didn't create this one, but think it is a great cycling breakfast picture.
Along with coffee I think some hole wheat toast and some peanut butter is a good way to get started.

My cycling breakfast consists of shredded chicken covered in my special rice (Brown rice with broccoli, cut green beans and corn) laced with ketchup and a very good helping of chopped hot peppers on top. (my favorites are fingerling hots or serranos). Add a side my wife's very special zucchini cakes (also with ketchup and hot peppers). Aha... I'm hungry just typing this up.

My breakfast of champions is oatmeal with blueberries mixed in. I usually have coffee with it and if I'll be riding soon after then I also knock back a gel before taking off as well. If I'm really hungry I might have a bar along with the oatmeal. It always works for me.

This is my go-to breakfast: Steel cut oats, berries, peanut butter, almond milk and flax meal. Keeps me full fairly well, which seems to be the challenge lately. (http://goo.gl/ECjgR)
