I feel very committed to biking. And as you said, there are so many great benefits from the environment to savings on money, lowering dependence on oil, decreasing traffic congestion, being healthy and more, but in the end, its for the fun of the ride. Just as an example, today was such a beautiful day and I got to experience it on my bike instead of in a car, and that was truly the best part of my day.

I have also realized that my “Picture a Day” project: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10200156215738201.190917.1535377275&type=3 has me committed to riding my bicycle every single day this year, too. There’s no other sensible way to get to the photo sites. Now I’m totally stoked about the idea!

Well said Derrick. I too have made the commitment to cycling. I have never driven a car or had a licence. Keep on pedalling and sharing your love of riding.

I’ve been riding my bike for years and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon so I guess you could say I have a lifelong commitment to cycling. I love it.
