If Life Were a Cup of Coffee

If life were a cup of coffee, I would brew mine especially strong.
Almost undrinkable. Very thick. Very dark.
21400_10151715596991259_1929624415_nThe cup would be extra large.
Filling as much into it as I could.

The first sip would be difficult, it would be very small.
But the tingle on my lips would quickly send me back for more.
Not really thinking, but enjoying it none-the-less.
A valuable addition to the morning routine.

I would fill the cup again. Noticing the beauty and the simpleness it holds.
This time it’s not just another cup of coffee.
Not a monotonous reach and habitual flow.
Noticing more…caring less about what it does.

I would call myself Bold, Aromatic, and Fresh.
A Worldly mixture of Countries and blends.
Never decaffeinated.
Always able to make people motivated, happy, and ready.

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
