I actually read the whole post :)

I'm wondering though - what is it about bicycling that has you sticking to it so long? You don't seem to be a "scanner" when it comes to bikes.

I still haven't got a clue want to be. I know what I love, but would I want them as jobs? I don't know. What I do know is that our education system is still trying desparately to pigeon hole kids and in most cases not allowing them to reach their full potential. I learned and achieved most after school not in it.

A true story from my 14 year old daughter's school. Just before Christmas we had to attend an evening on their "options" which here in the UK is deciding what subjects they want to go on to study to get the necessary quals for university and their careers. The head teacher stood up in front of the whole year and the kid's parents and actually said "what you as pupils decide now will decide your future." They 13 and 14 year olds. The look of apprehension and no little fear on their faces was terrible.

You get to see kids come in every day, read a book, and get a new awareness for who they will be or where they want to go. Very Cool. You've definitely got the right attitude on life....love it.
