Do Good Challenge Loving the Bike

Last year we kicked things off with a 31 day challenge to help create more good in your life and the world.  We feel it’s such a fantastic thing, that we’re encouraging anyone who didn’t do it last time to do it this year.  May you all help Goodfluence the year ahead.

We found out last year that 31 days is too much for people and many of those who started the challenge, dropped off before it was over.  Are you going to be one of those lame 2014’ers, or are you going to swagger like the rest of us here in 2015?

Here’s a link to each of the 31 days in the challenge:

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
