Make it Happen Monday: Dreams

Dreams can be chased
They can guide you
Push you
Motivate the hell out of you

Dreams can also be caught
Lived out in reality
Spending each day in amazement

They can also be put on hold
For something bigger
Not lost
Just paused for another time

But the most important thing
Is that the dream stays alive
Not abandoned
Attached to your heart

Imagine living a life without Dreams
Waking up each day for no reason
Journeying aimlessly through life

I have a few Dreams inside me
Some lived, some still waiting
But there
Looking for their turn

Dreams are about power
Being scared, a weak excuse
Hoping the dreamer comes out ahead

Jim, I’d say the inspiring goes both ways. I’m glad you liked it, and I hope it helps both of us get out there and chase the good things we’re after.

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
