I am in a similar situation and have been looking out for a good riding partner or group. I haven’t found the right one yet but am still looking.

Great post! I started riding all by my lonesome, but after lots of harassment and talking about how much I loved riding, I got some friends to join me. Now almost two years later I have SIX friends (and co-workers) that have gone out and purchased bikes and started riding with me. We ride three times a week, at least, taking a bike-break instead of a lunch break at work. Riding with someone else is so much more fun than being alone! This year we are riding a century around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the ADA Tour de Cure.
