Thanks, Dr. A….yeah, not sure that I needed to include the disclaimer but better to make things clear. Pretty sure I’d buy any theory with bikes in it as well.

I’ll buy almost any theory that has bicycles in it. However, it’s a crying shame that an otherwise fun article has to start out with a disclaimer to protect the author from the thunderous ignorance of radical religionists.

then modern man developed a brain and worked out 4 wheels are faster than two .. thank god evolution left so many simple minded less developed brains like ours to enjoy cycling

The wheel is a tool that makes life easier and more fun. Fire is a tool that makes life more likely. I’ve always felt the wheel is more akin to the drum and fire more akin to the ocean. The former makes me smile to be around the people who understand the love, while the latter causes deep and immediate peace that I can only relate to a deeply understood need. Without fire, without water, I wouldn’t survive. Without the wheel, life would be less interesting.
