Aaron, I’m so glad I came across the story of your first road race! Thanks so much for sharing the jitters, the excitement and adrenalin, the despair, and the joy at the finish – it’s exactly what I needed to read. I’m looking at entering my first race, a crit, here in Engliand, and from what you’ve described (and the encouragement you give at the end), I’m going to sign up! Congrats on making it all the way through your race – I hope the 2013 season pushes out those boundaries further. I’ve got just under two months to train – eek!

Another brilliant story Aaron. And to think, only a few short years ago, you only just started up riding regularly. It proves that all it takes is a little practice and dedication to achieve your goals. I love your determination to finish the race. I look forward to reading more.
