Darryl, I agree completely.

I have been riding more and more over the past few weeks as it is the middle of Mountain Bike racing season in DFW.

The only thing I can think about when I'm at work now is how much I would rather be riding.

Before, when I was only riding sporadically, I wanted to ride but the desire was different. Not nearly as intense.

But the thing is that the riding I'm doing now is so varied and different. Group rides one day, time trial efforts the next day, all intermingled between mountain bike rides and races. Experiencing all of the variety in the cycling world is really expanding the desire I have to ride.
