Proper Form Goes a Long Way

399px-woman_cyclist_-australia-1sept2005The first thing you need to do when trying to have success with this process is to learn proper form. The more you are able to find out about the right way to do your weight training exercises, the better the results you will be able to get. Learning the proper form will also allow you to avoid serious injury when first starting out. In most cases, you will be able to learn proper technique by consulting with a professional in the fitness industry.

Start With the Basics in the Beginning

Another very important thing you need to consider when trying to have success with this type of training when first starting out is to keep it simple. The more advanced compound movements most professionals perform can really injure a beginner that lacks the knowledge needed to do them correctly. By sticking to basic squats, lunges and curls, you will be able to get the results you are looking for. As you begin to progress in your workouts, you will be able to start adding more and more advanced movements. Make sure you consult with a professional in the industry before adding these types of exercises.

Stay Consistent

When trying to have success with this type of training, you will need to make sure you stay as consistent as you possibly can. By staying the course and continuing with your workout regardless, you will be able to get the results you are looking for. If you continuously start and stop, then you will not be able to get the definition and muscle tone you are after. Make sure you get a workout schedule developed so you know what muscle groups to work on what day. Having this type of organization will help to keep you on the right path to a healthier body.

By finding the right equipment and investing some time, you will have no problem getting the fit body you are after.

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
