Wow, What a Ride

There’s a lot of words to describe the life that my Wife and I live. One that definitely makes the list is Reckless. Now that may not be something most people strive for… believe me, it’s not always the easiest way to live. We have lived and worked in different Countries, but that’s not what makes it reckless. It’s the fact that we haven’t lived the typical life and taken a lot of chances along the way.

It’s not until things aren’t going the way I’d like them to when I start to think that maybe the reckless life ain’t so pretty.

The other day I was reminded of a sign I once saw back when we were living in Texas…

What a Ride

It didn’t totally get me out of the mood I was in, but it sure did remind me of how I live my life.  I often tell people to enjoy your ride, and so far mine has been pretty freaking awesome.  I sure as heck know that I plan on screaming “What a Ride” on my way out of here.  How about you?

Another great perspective on living a rich, fulfilling life! I love the quotation on the sign and appreciate the way you inspire your readers to live this motto. Ride on!

AMEN BROTHER! Great message and very encouraging. As anyone that has ever enjoyed a ride knows, sometimes you’re pedaling uphill…however, I LOVE every climb I complete.

Rock On my friend and Cheers to an epic 2015!

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
