The hemet, curently using a Specialized mountain bike helmet but doing more road cycling now then trail. Picked up the Lenzyne KTV Pro head and tail light package recently. Had the tail light clipped to my saddle bag, hit a big bump riding and lost it as it went flying off. Called Lenzyne, great customer service, they replaced it free of charge.

The helmet looks nice, but I don’t see if it fits over glasses. If it does, I like the looks of that one.

Greetings and have a good and safe ride

I would like the light, and have always needed one, but keep putting the purchase off!

I would really love the LED headlight
My best cycling gear currently is Cygolite Hotshot for the rear light and I feel slightly sorry for the drivers behind me, it’s that bright

Dang, and here I just got a hub generator and light for my commuter, a Trek Valencia. I like the helmet with googles best. Fits a need I have while trying to get ready for some longer distance rides this year.

Personally, I would be happy with any of these prizes. I already have helmets and plenty of lights, what I dont have is a bike computer. So thats what I would choose.

I’d like the helmet. I currently have a Bell helmet, but it’s over a decade old and in need of replacement. My current favorite bit of cycling gear is my SerfS LED head and taillight so’s that I am capable of riding at night.

I am in real need off a cycling helmet especially the one you are offering as a prize.
Never had one like this one.

Helmet please…I currently wear a Giro that is serious need of upgrading. Thanks guys. Loving the bike is cool!

  13. Randy Nagao on July 28, 2015 at 12:09 pm

I would like the LED light. “To boldly go where no cyclist has gone before!”

I would also like the Helmut. “Hey, its THE FLY on wheels”

Currently I use the Serfas Thunderbolt Taillight. It is the best. Can be seen for miles (kilometers). The LED light will just compliment this.

    Hello,
I currently use a Giro helmet and really like it. However, it is four years old and needs to be replaced. I really don’t have the extra cash to buy one as my wife has had three strokes since March and my son and his family have been living with us since their home burned in December, and I needed knee surgery in April. It’s just been a sucky year and I could use a pick me up. Thanks for considering me for the helmet. I Appreciate it.

I would like to win the helmet or light. I don’t currently have a light so I can’t ride at. Isn’t and my helmet is Bell. My favorite piece of equipment would have to be my shins I cyxling shoes.

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
