We’ve been partnered with this great independent cycling clothing company for several years now.  Here is our first article about them from back in 2012.  Knights of Mo’ Bay offers a line of cycling jerseys and gear to a niche market, and we’ve really enjoyed working with them.  Here’s the latest news from Knights of Mo’ Bay.

Knights of Mo’ Bay Cycling is pleased to announce its latest additions to the Latin America cycling jersey collection.  Now you will be able to order not only a beautiful Latin America jersey displaying the Big (5) animals and natural wonders of Latin America, but also cycling jerseys representing Bolivia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Panama , Puerto Rico and more to come.

Knights of Mo’ Bay Apparel is celebrating its 9th year of designing culturally exciting jerseys for customers who want to show their culture and vibe.  KOM started out as a small grassroots reggae designer selling cycling jerseys at local cycling expos in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Today, someone is probably rocking an Irie jersey this weekend in every state of the US and on every continent.   KOM has been shipped to over 62 countries and our friends in the United Kingdom love us, they are 25% of our total shipments worldwide.

We listen to our customers, understand their concerns and have made sure all jerseys are culturally correct.  Cyclist like to collect jersey from places that they did their missionary, peace corp. or state department time abroad  and can ‘t find quality representative jerseys online.  Many of our designs were inspired by native customers requesting specific designs and they have also helped to design their country’s jerseys.  For instance Puerto Ricans will be excited to find that the (Boricua) jersey has a coqui frog and the Latin America natives will immediately recognize the Aztec, Inca and Mayan symbols adoring the jersey.

We listened and have added Mardi Gras, African, Caribbean and Latin America jersey to our initial Reggae Music and Africa Diaspora offerings.  We have improved our selection of women’s jerseys and shorts by adding  beautiful  women’s cut cultural print jerseys, summer sleeveless jerseys, cycling knickers and running tights.

All of our jerseys are custom designed and made of quality material.  Our products will last through multiple machine washes and will deliver years of complements from your friends and associates.  Shop with confidence, you are buying a beautiful, one of a kind design jersey and will be the center of attention amongst all those mass produced commercial jerseys loaded with sponsor logos.

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
