Traveling the country on a bicycle is an awesome way to take in the beautiful scenery. Not only will you meet interesting people, you’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful weather.  So, get out of the house and stop playing fruit slots and enjoy your surroundings.

Although a bicycle expedition can be exhilarating, it can also be expensive. From the cost of purchasing a touring bicycle (and equipment) to the expenses associated with lodging, a bicycle expedition can cost thousands of dollars.

If you’re like most people, you don’t have tons of money to spend on a recreational expense. You must find a way to get the money. Here are a few ways to fund your next bicycle travel expedition.

1. Sell items that you’re not using.

Take a good look around your home. Are there any items that you aren’t using? If so, you can sell them on an online auction and social media sites.

Popular items that people will quickly purchase include computers, cell phones, tablets and other electronics. Take a few moments to take inventory of all of the things that you aren’t using and put them up for sale.

2. Start a dog-walking service.

Pet ‘parents’ spend billions of dollars on their dogs each year. Many people who have dogs work long hours. As a result, they aren’t able to take them for long walks.

That’s where your dog-walking service can fulfill a need. It’s not uncommon for people to pay up to $25 an hour for a caring person to walk their dogs. At that rate, you can walk four dogs and earn $100 per hour.

3. Start a side business.

If you’re a full-time employee, you won’t have time during the day to run a business. But that doesn’t mean you can’t start a side business that you can operate in the evenings or on weekends.

The most inexpensive types of business that you can start is a service-based business. For less than $100, you can get your business up and running. Examples of lucrative service-based businesses include tutoring, tax preparation, bankruptcy preparation, child care and writing services.

4. Flip your car title.

Do you own a vehicle with a free and clear car title? If so, you can apply for a loan with Woodstock Title Lending and get cash in exchange for your vehicle’s title.

The best part about this type of loan is you could qualify for a few thousand dollars depending on the value of your vehicle. This type of loan is super easy to get.

5. Get an extra job.

If you’re not ready to become a part-time entrepreneur or sell your items, you could apply for a part-time job. By taking this action, you can earn extra money without the hassle of running a business.

Examples of part-time jobs include waiter/waitress, bartender, retail salesperson, ride share driver, customer service representative, personal trainer and a real estate agent.

If you’re asking yourself “how do I get a construction job“, then you can start talking to contractors near you and seeing what they offer (it’s a very lucrative industry).

When you put your mind to it, you can come up with so many ways to fund your next bicycle travel expedition. Before you know it, you’ll have extra money for your next bicycle travel expedition in no time.

Travel has never been cheaper or easier than it is in the 21st century. You’ll be amazed at some of the best bundle vacation deals under $1,000. In some instances, you can get airfare and a few nights’ stay at a hotel for under $500! It all depends on factors such as the time of the year, season, hotel, airline, and so forth

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
