Do Good Challenge Loving the Bike

Just a couple days left in our 31 Day Do Good Challenge.  Whew, it’s been some month huh?  Well, the coolest thing about it is seeing all the good that has been created.  If you’d like to leave a personal message for Rob Greenfield you can do that in the comments section below.

Our Family used to say what we’re grateful for each day at the dinner table…but it’s a tradition that we’ve lost.  Seeing today’s task makes me realize we need to get that back…..and be grateful for more than just that one time a day.

 

Day 30:  Be grateful to be alive all day long.

    I haven’t been commenting on a daily basis, but have been taking your challenges! There were a few times today I just wanted to be grumpy or down right angry, but then I remembered your challenge and found a new perspective on those situations.

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
