Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea). I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.
My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.
Answer:
Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out. Have you tried either of these? Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.

Nutrition Tips
This was hard for me since it required me to make eye contact. I had to really try. I was actually surprised by the results. For the most part, other people didn’t look up either. I guess we’ve made it a point to keep our heads down and get on with our tasks. Those who did see me smiling did a surprising thing…they spoke to me. That may not seem strange, but I had real conversations with people I didn’t know. They were telling me all kinds of interesting tidbits and making connections, even briefly. I was even surprised by the changes in myself. Keeping my head up and making a point to smile actually made me feel confident to the point I spoke louder. I have an incredibly bad habit of mumbling so that others have to ask me to repeat myself. I spoke loud and clear and found I felt confident to ask for what I needed.
This was definitely an interesting challenge! I want to continue all of these challenges as I can. I’ve already been looking for and picking up trash to throw away/recycle and trying to find ways where I can perform kindnesses. (the not buying new things only works in some areas. We already buy used when we can so food is all I can think that we buy ‘new’)
