Bike Jewelry

A few weeks ago I posted some bicycle jewelry pictures on Twitter to see what kind of feedback they would receive.  I had an overwhelming amount of people come back saying that this stuff was amazing and where could they get their hands on this jewelry.

So today we’re doing something a little bit different here at Loving the Bike.  We feel like we sort of just set up the Loving the Bike marketplace and are going to stand back and see how much we can sell today.  This jewelry is from local artist, Green Goat Designs and we’ve got some beautiful cycling pieces for all of you who are interested.

All Necklaces are $70 for Silver and $40 for Bronze.

Earrings are $40 for Silver and $30 for Bronze.

Product sales are not really our thing so we’re only able to take payment by Paypal for this stuff.  If you’d like to use other methods, please contact us and we’ll find a way.  All prices are in US dollars and there’s going to be a $4.00 shipping fee for US orders.  For all other Countries, please add $8.00 for shipping.

We’ve got a thumbnail of each piece below and all of these come in the option of Silver or Bronze.  Once you’ve decided which you like best, just click on the corresponding Paypal button to buy now.  (Once again I need to say that this is something new we’re trying out so bare with us if there’s any technical difficulty)

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
