Who doesn’t love getting new jerseys?  Yeah, as far as I’m concerned you can never have enough cycling kits…..as long as they fit great and feel good.

I definitely have a preference for what I like in a cycling jersey, and I wanted to share a little information about how you can expand your shopping selection and also make sure you get a jersey that fits the way you like it to fit.

Buying cycling clothes online allows you to shop anywhere in the world, so if you like unique jerseys or just happen to like millions of options, it is a great way to pick up new stuff.

Have a watch and find out what I have to say about my new jerseys from Pro Bike Kit and Primal Wear.  Also listen in for a couple easy tips on how to get the most from your online buying experience.

I LOVE new bike clothes. In fact, I just got a killer deal on a Danny Shane summer jersey on closeout. Haven’t been able to wear it yet because I’ve got some kind of congestion/crud in my head and chest, but I like the look and that it was designed here in ATX. Thanks for the tip on Pro Bike Kit. PBK also happens to be my initials, so I’ll have to shop there.

I shop almost exclusively on-line for bike clothes and have found that jersey sizing is usually pretty much the same for me regardless of company, but I have to really watch the sizing charts and differences for bibs.

Thanks again. Keep the review coming!

Hahahahaha, that is cool. You definitely need a PBK jersey so you can feel like it’s customized. I really like the fit, feel, and look of the one I have.

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
