I’ll Meet You There

Beautiful Sunrise Paradise

I know exactly what I want.  In fact I can even feel it.  It’s a confidence that everything is going to be okay.  It’s a place of safety, warmth, fun, and happiness.  I’ve visited it a few times, but only for fleeting moments.  I dream about it often….endlessly.

I’m sure everyone chases their ideal lifestyle, but it’s so much more than that.  It really is what I was destined for.  It’s a place I must go.

I know of a few friends who, like me, will not settle.  They want so much more than the average.  Although they live a seemingly great life…it’s not enough.  Cheers to them.  This one is for you too.

Quit trying to cover it up with luxury and comforts…it might mask it, but it won’t quench the thirst.  Keep focusing on that feeling….that place….I’ll meet you there.

Enjoy Your Ride

You are consistent, in a great way. I know where mine is and what it is, and I know I am lucky.

Thanks, Eric. Yeah, I figured you knew where yours was. I’ll meet you there one day in the future.

Envy you that know what your after. I have a general direction but really no particular set goal, and maybe that in itself is the path I have chosen. I want to continue to travel, expand, learn, meet, do….
I want to be involved in something that is making a change for the better in the world, myself Im not near politically correct enough or popular enough to spearhead something of this magnitude but would sure love to get on board with someone who is and be their support. Still looking-

Thanks Daniel. It’s funny you say that, as I really don’t feel like I’m one of those people who totally knows exactly what they want in life. There are some things I know I want and those are the things I’ve gone after…..so far.
It sounds to me like you might actually know more of what you want than you think. I love the plans you have and just might be able to jump on that train along with you. a good friend of mine, Rob Greenfield, is really making things happen in a good way and I know there are opportunities to get involved with what he’s doing. Let me know if you’d like an introduction.

Actually what I want to do is go on a bike ride with Suzanne, but that may be another story-
I have seen some of Rob’s stuff through here, how about his website again?
I am back in the Arctic in ‘work’ mode for a month or so and that eats the free time for sure, but I find a little time to research and follow subjects I like (occasionally there is even a new post on the blog). I have been following and supporting Shannon Galpin and M2M with the Afghanistan project which is growing into something very special, but there is more out there.
Keep up the good fight Darryl-

Yeah, riding with Suzanne would be awesome. The best place to follow Rob is through Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/RobJGreenfield. He’s doing some amazing things. Thanks for your support, Daniel.

Hey Daniel, let’s ride. Should you find yourself in Chicago, consider it a done deal.

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
