Look Bike Beautiful off the Bike

I’m sure I’m not alone in my love for cycling themed t-shirts, right?  I’m also not the only one who aims to have enough cycling t-shirts to wear a different one every day of the month.

Thanks to the guys from Cycology, our Loving the Bike crew is closer to this goal.  (I actually just checked my closet and I’m personally sitting at 19 cycling t-shirts……definitely not enough yet).

With so many options out there, how do you find the best choices to add to your cycling t-shirt inventory?  You take the advice of trusted friends and websites like ours….hahahahaha.

Yes, you should know by now that I don’t promote something I don’t personally love and believe in….and I’d never tell you to go out and buy something just because I was paid to say it.

Cycology is an Australian based clothing company who has always shipped world wide, but just this month opened up a Cycology US distribution making it so much easier for North Americans to buy their stuff.

Let me cut to the goods, and why I recommend Cycology.  First off, they’re a company with a passion for cycling.  Along with that, their products are made incredibly well and provide comfort and fashionability.  Straight up…..they look good, feel good, and capture the cycling lifestyle feeling.

They have fantastic t-shirts, but along with that they also sell jerseys, shorts, socks, and a bunch of other accessories….including underwear.

Yes, I’ve never owned a pair of cycling themed underwear before this.  The only question now is….will I collect a months supply of cycling shirts or underwear first?

If you’re looking to pick up some new clothing for on or off the bike, be sure to take a look at what Cycology has to offer.  These are not affiliate or tracking links, just an authentic recommendation.

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
