Loving the Bike TV: Finding Your Place

How exactly do we choose our career path?  You know, it’s only the thing that the we’ll do for the majority or a big chunk of our lives.  No big deal, right?  But think about it for a second.  How did you fall into this career?  How did you decide what education or training you’d take?

In this episode of Loving the Bike TV, I talk about this topic from the grounds of St. George’s University here in Grenada.  A place where students are training to become doctors and veterinarians.  How did they choose this direction?

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
