Loving the Bike TV: Friends

I had a friend tell me once that they didn’t want to get close to me because they knew I was leaving the country.  WTF?  In this episode of Loving the Bike TV I talk about how even spending a short time with a friend can be the best thing you ever did…..on and off the bike.

Absolutely agree with this video post, It was great to meet you guys as well the couple of times that we got together. Who knows what the future will lead to but I am glad for the change to meet you.

Awww!! I love that “Friend-Up”…and totally agree. Being travellers, we constantly meet people and constantly say goodbye to people. But the moments had together and memories shared will always last. And like you said, with technology, people are always connected.

The past 2 months have been amazing with you guys and we really hope to come back for some more fun times, or meet on the road 🙂

    Love,

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
