Ugh, another male specific jersey in a woman’s cut with elastic seams around the hips.  Oh wait there’s another flower, bird print or ugly busy pink jerseys.

Yeah, women don’t like these tired themes.  But our friends at Knights of Mo’Bay have several options that are designed to give women alternative choices for their cycling clothing.

Here are just a few items from their line up.

Attractive African prints in strong colors.

Strong women like Kittie Knox, turn of the century female racer in blue and pink.

Pink jerseys that women want to wear every day.

Jerseys that say, woman want to cycle every day and dance all night.

Sugar Alternatives for Energy and Hydration

Question: I am using the homebrew sugar formulations (sometimes added to green tea).  I am also trying to wean myself off 1/2 dose adrenalean “lip tonic delivery system” (biorhythm brand- caffeine, hoodia g, synephrine, yohimbe) capsule for energy.

My question is other than juice, can you suggest modifications in lieu of table sugar for energy and hydration.

Answer:

Both raw/organic honey or agave can work great in the homebrew (substitute in the same quantities for the sugar, or to taste), but you do have to shake well in order to make sure they don’t settle out.  Have you tried either of these?  Also, make sure to use at least the minimum amount of salt recommended in the homebrew as the temps rise, you need the sodium replacement if you’re sweating.
